HEy there ya ARE  :haha:

ok here we go

quote from the shoutbox
Quote
X Today at 08:39:14 PM Ellsonsyota – how do you sart a thread?
X Today at 08:38:26 PM Ellsonsyota – so after all i did i got to do it? they said to allpy some form of silicon to the timing cover and i kinda didnt want to but did in the end. so know i got to take out the oil pan so should i get some form of gasket to be aplyed instead of the silicon?
X Today at 08:37:56 PM 79coyotefrg – you should save this i'm telling you, or start a thread here on Marlin
X Today at 08:37:25 PM 79coyotefrg – you DO NOT have to remove the driveshaft or front axle shafts
X Today at 08:37:02 PM 79coyotefrg – go look under the front of your truck, theres a small cross member type thing in front of the differential, it bolts to each side of the front end and a big bolt into the diff mount, that needs to come out, then the other LARGE diff bolt, then you can lower the diff

X Today at 08:35:26 PM 79coyotefrg – its a  bit of a pain, but all you need to do is pull 3 bolts and a cross member thing and the diff will lower down enough to pull the oil pan without taking everything out

X Today at 08:33:53 PM Ellsonsyota – srry food lol
X Today at 08:33:38 PM Ellsonsyota – ye sand they say if you dont ahve a 4 in lift its a pain to get the oil pan out. is that true?
X Today at 08:33:22 PM 79coyotefrg – Ellson, you still with us??

X Today at 08:31:49 PM 79coyotefrg – i dont know WHY  that  popped into my mind

its an easy mistake people dont realize those timing chain guides get down there and clog the oil pickup tube

once you have the pan off, reach up and see if any of the connecting rods are noticeably loose, if they are :yikes:

hopefully all is ok,  clean the oil pickups wire screen, and clean the oil pan , a new pan gasket is needed,

and yea i would check the oil pump and make sure its not got stuff clogged in it
