i run 38 sx's on mine and they kick butt in mud but they are hell on the road mines not a dd just a when ever i want to if its gonna see more street than dirt go mtr

AHHH fine, back to MTR's i guess ill get those, they are good and DD compatable, thanx guys! my stuff should be in from JCW today then i gotta wait for shackles from 86Runner and my torsion bars from Downey, and i can get my tires, then i post pics yay!

i have LTBs on my truck...after running them for about 5000 miles they're holding up great, my next set is gonna be LTBs in 34x10.5

yeah the "bad" thing is that their bias ply so they dont last as long....I guess Ill have to have 2 sets of meats

i'm suprised how they're wearing.  not bad on the road at all either, just don't slam on the brakes *too* hard on wet pavement it's been over 5000 miles and i still have "swamper" on the face of the outer lugs, and can see some of the flashing left on them as well from the molds

the truxis sucks as a tire. the mtr is the best out of the two but when i get some dd tires im going with the procomp muds. the are very good on road and work well off road. If i had to chose between the tsl and the mtr for both on and off road but mostly on road. i would go with the mtr. I have gotten a lot of feed back on most off road tires and the mtr is one of the best.

MT/R's are the best off and on road tire from what I have heard, and people I've talked to that have experience with them.  I've heard not even considering their excellent on road performance for a off road tire, they are one of the best off road tires out there.  Not to mention, in my opinion they are the sickest looking tire out there.

i hated the sx's on the road, death wobble, flat spotting....

finally got back on a set of 37 mtrs.......rides/drives soooooo much better....and mtr's seem a little stickier in the rocks when not aired down quite as much(the sx's didnt do until kike 8 or less psi)

I went witht he 33' 12.50 Mtr's, Heard nothing but good stuff about them, there reasonably quiet and wear quiete nicely compared to most other off road tires. And they look awesome too. my

i hope we dont lose a nother perfictly good wheeler to mtrs thay suck so bad if the dirt gets wet thay just become huge racing slicks

I heard that they are sticky and tuff as hell when it comes to rocks, dunno bout mudd though :-/ most people do crawlin nowadays

It depends on where you usually play...What type of terrain does you toy get used in,and how often?...The MTRs are good tires,they're made from a stickier compound,so they stick to the rocks a little better,and they're good on hard dirt trails as well,,but I know that on mud,they don't do as well.They tend to fill up quick,and as CR said,become racing slicks.Havent heard too much about sand,however,they do wear real good on the street.So if you have a vehicle that gets driven on the street everyday,and gets driven to the trails,I'd go with those.

Well lets see..  I have been running 36 TSL by-bly swampers now for 5 years.
My first set still had 40% on them after driving them every day for over 3 years daily driving with them Being Syped (BAD SPELLING) and being balanced well..  Then I bought a new set that I haven't had that long and don't drive daily anymore and they suck ass...
I think now I am going to buy the 37 MTRs I am sick of the Ping pong ball driving.. LOL
