Need help on Tranny Swap Auto to Manual
« on: Nov 17, 2008, 11:21:51 AM »
I did a Manual tranny swap to my 85 4runner and need help on the wiring. I notice that the manual tranny has only two sensor one is the oil sensor and i think the other one is a 4x4 sensor indicator. i have a dual case on too. Well the plug does not match the auto tranny plug and how do i know where they go; and does the other wire affect the truck at all if its not plug in.

Please some on HELP

the two wire plug on the trans is the reverse lamp switch.
the single wire on the t case is the 4wd lamp.

you are going to have to mod the wire from the auto harness so you have a nuetral switch closed so the starter will work.

search for the wiring manual and have fun.
hold this. . .
