Pretty country. Reminds me of parts of Montana and Idaho here. Do you fish in any of the rivers or lakes?

My photo album at f4x4.is

http://kjolur.f4x4.is/photoalbum/view.php?action=album&albumid=193

here are some pics of Þórsmörk. wich is a great looking walley sitting between two glaciers.   That day there was a lot of water in the rivers, and the pajero on 35" ditnīt have  a change against the river krossá those 3 last pics are all taken in a 30 secs or so after the last pic i ran into the water tying a rope to tha pajero

http://kjolur.f4x4.is/photoalbum/view.php?action=collection&albumid=193&collectionid=232

here is a trip to Landmannalaugar.. wich  has a warm natural swimming pool (like a lot of other popular places here)
My turbo diet when I crossed a small river causing ice cold water to flod the turbo (it litteratly cracked)

http://kjolur.f4x4.is/photoalbum/view.php?action=collection&albumid=193&collectionid=499

here are some pics of a group of mine called trúðagengið or the" clowngang "  the first pics are off me trying out my dualcase setup discovering if you exit the truck it will go hier up the mountain.... If you push it a litle it will go even higher causing it to climp to the top . The following pics are of my buddyes.  The red patrol has dual t-cases witha litle lower crawl radio than mine 2 x 2.28

http://kjolur.f4x4.is/photoalbum/view.php?action=collection&albumid=193&collectionid=1525

we allso have a web page at www.trudur.alvaran.com But that is only on Icelandic

Has that got the 2L motor? How do you like it. How is it power wise compaired to the 22RE?

I found a 2L localy and my 22RE may be on it's last leg. Thought it might be fun to make my 4Runner a oil burner. I can get a 2L clip with transmission and everything I need to do the conversion for not much more then it would cost to rebuild what I have once I figure in selling off the rebuilt transmisision and driveline parts.  We can't normaly get the Diesel here so nobody I can ask about it.

It is a totaly different feeling (power wise).   the 22re is more powerfull if you look at the 0-60 time. But if you are towing a trailer or going up a long and steep hill, then 2l is more powerfull. Basicle The 22re is more powerfull on the hi rpm and the 2l wins on the lo rpm.

There has allso been addet a turbo and a intercooler to my engine and I have only driven original non turbo trucks. So I am mabe not judgable about that but that seemed ok.

  I think I'll bring up a point noone else has. I love your truck! Makes me wish Toyota would trust us with some of the cool ones. Even if they didn't sell very well, a small percentage of US sales would still be a lot! I've had enough of mall-crawlers!
