Ok, so I'm not really all that old (31), but by the looks of things I may be slightly older than the average Toyota owner. I don't own nor have I ever owned a Toyota, yet...

I'll be in the market for a third gen truck once I sell my Cherokee. I live in Clovis, Ca and have been a Jeeper since inception, or pretty close to that. Now I'd like to get a dependable little truck to build slowly as time and money permit. Seems to me a Yota fits the bill perfectly.

That's about it, unless I'm missing something. Any questions, feel free to ask.  :turtle3:

Welcome to the Board :welcome:

Another Jeeper has turned to a Yodler.
What is your ending result you'd like to accomplish?
as far as things you want on/in your Toyota, once you get one.

Have fun on the board, lots of info to browse through.

Toodles,

Don't worry, we don't discriminate here. There is no old fogy section. Good luck selling the Jeep & building the toy.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I'd like to start with an extended cab, 22RE powered, 5spd and AC. That's all I'm looking for at the moment. But the future will hopefully bring most of the standard upgrades, SAS, duals, 35s and sitting in the garage, I've got a new Warn winch and VIAIR OBA kit. I tend to like a capable DD.

Some days though, it feels like 31 going on 70. Getting old beats the alternative, but it sure can hurt.

Just out of curiosity, how far off are Kelley Blue Book and NADA values? Almost all the trucks I have found for sale seem to be priced above the high values.

I use NADA, due to MOST Dealers in the NW only use NADA.
KBB is way off for us up here.

KBB is more national average.
use NADA... or whichever give you a better value.
Insurance Companies use NADA as well.. most anyways
