STOLEN TRUCK
« on: Aug 15, 2004, 02:05:15 AM »
My Dad's truck was stolen yesterday,Friday the 13th,at about 7am,from Ontario,So. Cal.(Riverside,San Bernardino area). It's a white 1981 Toyota 4x4 short bed. It's really clean, with clean blue interior. It's also got a brand new 4 inch lift, brand new 33 inch BFG mud terrains on new 15x10 black rockcrawlers,a new header,hi-flo cat,and Flowmaster muffler. The front is cut,and has no front bumper, with two yellow hallogen lights mounted on some custom brackets. The truck was stolen in So.Cal.,but I'm asking for your help. Please keep your eye open for this truck,or anyone selling parts from a stolen truck that might fit the above description.Any information would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Peps (909)854-3805.

Hey roktoy84,that really sucks about your toy.I can't even begin to imagine what that must feel like.Fortunately,My Dad's toy was recovered.I haven't seen it yet,but my bro told me that they took the rims and tires, the hallogens, the stereo,a small toolbox, and his tow strap, but there was no body damage, and the engine was left alone, even the battery, they just busted the ignition.Thanx for your reply.

I'm glad to hear that your dad got his truck back. I wish I was able to say the same thing about the condition of mine. Mine is totaled. I don't jave a pic. But the kid that stole it was nice enough to throw a handfull of sand into the carb. He almost broke the frame in two when he ws jumping it. I think that the only good parts i have left are my axles, hy-steer, and brakelines. Marlins brake lines must be able to take a beating. Cause there were no shocks on the front of my truck. So, I'd imagine that they were stretched when the truck was airborn.
