i have an 87 4runner, need a new engine b/c mine is blown. any ideas?

Hello fellow Texan....your best bet would be a 22-RE their very reliable....but If you want a bit more power try a 4.3 swap :yupyup:

Well actually I think thers around 6 of us TEXANS now  :yupyup:

86 Toyota 4runner, 33X12.5-15 Aurora RT/02's on Series 97 15X10 rock crawlers, 3" performance body lift, Rancho RS5000's... Soon to be Marlin 1200 Clutch, tube bumper front and rear, nerf bars and roof rack... future plans include SAS 5.29's detroits!
