well I finally got up to Royal and cut off    the front of the 85 frame thats goin on the 92!!  Just priced out metal for the cage, front clip/bumper, bed bars and rear bumper..... Thinkin about just going with 1 3/4'' .120 wall HREW for now..... DOM is on order and is over $100 a stick compared to $46 a stick...... SO I think 5 sticks should do the job for now! i'm going to build a square DL for the front as well untill I get a nice long slip... money has been way tight but we should have some progress on this beast soon! I'll post up pics of the front clip when I get a chance.. not feelin too hot,    they sent me home from work so Im gonna rest up!

      yeah if you get 1 3/4" .120 wall that should work just fine!  my whole exo is built out of 1 5/8" .120 wall and is has held up just fine to a pretty good beating so far.  DOM would be nice but its def out of my budget too!

WELL... Due to the fact that this project will be on hold until funds become more prominent, I have decided to go ahead and link the TwistedToy all the way around..... If I'm going to rebuild it I wanna do it once and do it right  
So here's what I'm thinkin, I'd appreciate any info/advice that anyone has to offer

    -3 link front/18 inch travel coilovers
    -hyrdo assist
    -heim joints on steering
    -4 link rear/18 inch travel coilovers or 3 link/8 inch rubicon coils
    -12 inch slip yokes HD drivlines
    -Flat belly
    -Tranny tunnel   
    -4 point harnesses
    -Partial Exo

sounds pretty sick!  idk if 18" coilovers are necessary though, 16's are usually more than enough on a yota.

Well I picked it up for $50!!!!!!!! I'm gonna do bearings, polish crank, hopped up cams, injectors........ I'm gonna start tearing it apart tomorrow and post up more pics!

few pictures for everyone!  I'm going to have to bore this thing about .030 over due to a slight ridge on #1 cylinder so its going to be a full on rebuild.... BUT the block, head, crank, rods, intake, and injector rail are in good shape so you cant pregnant dog about that for $50!!! should be a fun build!

Right on you should run into a lot less fitment issues then. Are you gonna make a stripped down harness for it?

yep, I'm going to get rid of the wiring I dont need and strip the out of it
I'm still debating on running the radiator in the back or out front.......

if you have room run the radiator in the front it you dont run it in back

Even though im going 22re with propane and turbo, a 7m might be in my trucks future..

might just link the rear first and run rears upfront for a little while... we will see how the money is flowing
