85 auto trans 4 runner axles: 4.30s?
« on: Aug 21, 2008, 10:55:59 PM »
I found a doner front end to replace the pringled front housing on my '91 but it's from a '85 4 runner with an auto trans.  These had 4.30s or 4.56s right?  If so I might as well grab the rear end too...  Not much of a gearing difference but I couldn't hurt to have a bit lower gears.  I think I can trade for my worn out 35's that the truck came with!

i think it was 4.30s or 4.88s for the autos depending on tire size
