the driver seat could use a seat cover. if you look carefully at the pics you 'll see dents above and below the left tail light (let's just say: a pretty black paint job would show some wrinkles :gap:) i didn't mention crossover/high steer previously or the "anti axle wrap link". also: the face of the stereo opens and closes over the cd port to keep dirt out. mp3 ready(might even throw in a 4gig mp3 :usa: don't know if you'd like my music though :smokin: 1000 watt amp. big capacitor, a couple rockford 8s. the chevy v6 is bone stock with all cal smog BS. the chevy od trans will bark the 35s when it hits 2nd gear, i don't care for that, kinda hard on the U joints, so it's going to Tehachapi Auto Transmission friday, september 2nd to be mellowed out and dialed in. I suffer from CMS ( can't member sh?t) so as i remember things about this runner, i'll post. if you have any questions , feel free to call or post. I'm in no hurry, i bought this for my wife, who seems disinterested. so now what i'd really like is a late 60s to late 70s 1/2 ton short bed chevy 2wd (just cuz i like em ) i'll post more pics. P.S. going wheelin in big bear over labor day (4 days) so i won't be checking E-mail until Tuesday September 6th :turtle3:

I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

This is "howyadoin" old rig right?  Search for his old ad on here, he had a lot of detail, (no offense) Also I believe the engine was the Throttle body, (TBI), right?  Not Vortec.  TBI's better anyway, simpler and alot less wiring, (I did the same swap on my 84 4runner).

that is correct>>it is a tbi (i thought 4.3 was called "vortec" because of the heads and intake manifold, not the injection system) dunno, but yea check "howyadoin' the guy i purchased it from. he has more detail in his post and more pics. he's a good guy, he may answer more questions than i can,he owned it longer. i invite anyone to bring dirty cloths and a creeper to have a look under this rig>> top quality fab and hardware. doesn't drive like a toyota on 35's, it's tight and has plenty of power. my pickup with the 22r( built a lot more ) sucks to drive on the freeway.( gutless) most of you know what i'm talking about. i've been driving it to work most days and getting 15mpg and the automatic/ overdrive tranny means "never having to put your drink down" :beerchug: it's a great rig and i may keep it. the original post says "feeler" , now that i've been driving it regularly, i like it
