cant without swapping entire front TTB to explorer. which doesn't bolt on either.

Ranger is D28 and Exploder is D35

B2s and Rangers are interchangeable though.

The pinion was also horribly loose, so i need to clean this thing up and then see if any teeth are chipped or otherwise messed up. If i have to pull a new diff from a junkyard it wont be fun.

no explorer ever had a d30

explorers had a d35 ttb front end

actually you can easily bolt on a d35 from an explorer

get the D35 center part dude and swap it over.. .you may have to get the axle shaft too... whoopty do. it'd be worth it.

go through the D35 and do a minor rebuild and clean it VERY good and re-grease it and fill it with valvoline or napa gear oil (same thing)

I plan to rip the 7.5 diff off my 87 this spring and put it under my dads 95 to rid it of ADD.

yeah I know   loved the turning radius of the BroncoII     the 89 Ranger I had I put a 9 inch and dana 44  from a 77 bronco under it 4.56 gears and lockers, then it could keep up with the Toyotas

NorCalToy

well 4x4 is fixed. had to put diff in right as it started snowing super hard...  ::)

and about ranger vs toyota, this thing has put a lot of trucks to shame, whether it was truck, driver or other factors, its been a damn good truck to me.
