Here's a few pics of some 808 style Toys, some of these guys are friends of mine from the Big Island and some are friends of theirs. These rigs were not built for rock crawling so please,no comments about them being to tall for the rocks  .I have always had a soft spot for these Toys because that's all I wanted when I was younger and even though I've owned a few Toyotas,I never had one the way I wanted it back then  .So here's a couple of my friends and their friends:

they all look clean, and it looks like tehy all love boggers :haha: i jus never understood the skyhigh and only run 33s... :dunno: or the smaller sized tire compared to the lift heigth... :dunno:

I built the orange one in the beginning of this thread. Here's you're guys answer on this thread some of us build it for just looks we call it pavement pounder's and some build it for sand because that's all we pretty much have here which also explains the wide wheels . However some guys actually do play in the mud and some crawl at our high height we like to have clearance when it starts flexing so the tires don't rip off our fenders and start screwing up anything else. We even lift the yota's with Chevy springs for height and to softened up the ride we would pull the 3rd leaf spring out and by doing that we get a pretty good amount of flex you would be surprised by pulling that 3rd leaf how much flex you'd get. We do have mountain's but our laws here the police is always chasing us out and citing us with tickets. We tried doing the 4 inch lift with 35 inch tall tires with 15x8 or 10 rims but some of us had bad experience after wheeling like that then our fender ends up flying off somewhere hitting another car so that's the explanation for the height any other questions just ask me.
