more cab room, and a more stable wheelbase, go 2nd gen and don't turn back. EFI? better trans?

I voted 1st gen, I love them! Although an extra cab would be nice... but you just cannot beat the looks of a first gen.

The ONLY reason I'd go with the 2nd gen is for the xtra cab, but I voted 1st gen cause.... well, do I really need a reason?  It's a 1st gen  :gap:

I like the style of 1st gens but the 2nd gen looks like you have more time into so obviously your more partial to it.

Is the Xtra Cab EFI?

And I love having that extra space behind the seats. You can put your duffel bags and sleeping bags there so they don't get wet. :twocents:

I've grown pretty partial to an Xtra cab myself. Even though the first gens are cool. I would rather have the extra room. It does come in handy, often.  :yesnod:  Plus as far as stock drivetrain components go the 2nd gen stuff is a little better 'out of the box'.

I don;t know how tall you are but the Xtra cab certainly is more comfortable for a taller person as well. Luckily for me I'm not real tall so I get more room behind the seat for more stuff.

Its looking like the 2nd gen is gona be kept but not over yet! LOL
