The sad thing is a guy in a Jeep drove by while I was fixing it and said "Shoulda bought a jeep"  Of course he had Ford 9's under his jeep.  I of course had ALL TOYOTA RUNNIG GEAR.

Gittinit

hub studs

stripped splines on birf side of inner axle

twisted a driveshaft in two, and riped a hole in my shirt.

I've broken tons of stock birfs and most gave up fairly easily. This one held on for dear life. It even worked with this crack in the bell.

sheared almost all the teeth off the spider gears on a welded 3rd.

I have broke way more crap than that but I don't always have a camera handy. Heck most of it isnt picture worthy.
Hug your kids, pray for a soldier, and don't sweat the small stuff.

– fortysixandtwo – sorry, i prefer marlin because aside from gittinit, no one is a know it all a hole

My usual comeback for that one is, "How much of your Jeep is oem"? Then like you noticing that the axles are not I continue my reply, "Hey Those axles don't look stock, why don't you put that Dana 30 back in and call me and we'll see who goes further".
