Please, please, please...clarify, for my mental well being. You weren't just wearing socks were you? If not, I think this belongs in the (Ultimate) bat wing thread!

I have to go soak my minds eye in bleach right NOW!

:smack: I knew that would come up, so I tried to word it carefully, but apparently I failed.  No, I had socks on my feet, and also was wearing shorts and a t-shirt (and yes, I had underwear on)

Although, the dry skin particles sticking to the pole did happen, I now have burns on both arms.

I use my boot sole to control my spped, and as soon as my body realized the smooth woven fabric of my comfy wool socks wasn't going to create the same amount of friction, my body went into emergency recovery, and clamped down hard with my arms.  Alas, just soon enough to keep me from splatting, but not soon enough for me to not discover that hitting the floor from the second story at a decent rate of speed hurts!   :hammer:

I learned that Mercedes are a pregnant dog. Broke my drop-in wrench on one today.

I also learned that the people at Autozone don't know what a drop-in filter is.

I also learned that Sears doesn't know what one is either.

I also learned that Sears had a cool little tool that I was able to remove the drop-in cap with.

I also learned that the cool little tool that I was able to remove the drop-in cap with will remove stuff but is not reversible so I couldn't put the cap back with it.

I also learned that Autozone has the drop-in wrench but didn't know they had it.

Now I can understand Autozone not knowing what I was talking about since they only sell parts, but I went to the service dept. of Sears and they had no clue as to what I was looking for. As I walked out the front door of Sears I asked them if they did oil changes, I got a funny look at that point don't know if they were serious or not but as the door was closing I said "Guess not since you don't know what a drop-in filter is".

I don't know what one is either and I change the oil in my 22r all the time.  So where does that leave me?  :dunno:

I also learned that replacing the bent blades caused by getting tractor stuck on them while attempting to wheel it sucks a lot... dropping the deck by yourself is no fun task and putting it back on sucks even more

Norriseal 1001A Level controllers are worthless. Stayed up till 10pm working on separators at work. Got my shower and was to bed for a quarter to 11. then the entire platform shut in again  at 15 past midnight because one stupid level controller did not call for a vent scrubber to dump.
