1990 Toyota Crawler/DD
« on: Jun 28, 2008, 12:34:58 PM »

I was dealing with a buyer for the last 3 weeks, and he just backed out on me putting me in a bind. Now I need to sell it to cover bills. I am asking $3,000. There is a build up of this truck somewhere on here.

I need this gone SOON.

Thanks,

-Dallas

Odometer reads 235k, not sure if the engine was rebuilt..I bought it from kasey, I think his name is ToyoCrawler on here(?). Hopefully he will chime in with some more info on the engine. It runs really strong, I haven't had any issues with it. It has an exhaust leak, but that is all.

 The axles are stock.

AaronB: I bought the truck from a member on here, and thought it would be a good idea to post it back up here. I come to the boards often, just never posted. I'm sorry if it looks like I registered just to advertise, but I didn't.

Thanks,

-Dallas

ever busted a birf?   39.5's and stock birf's would scare me on the trail

nice rig though, what gear's do you have in the axles?   does the 22RE have decent power on the street?

Haven't broken one since I've had it. It has 4.10's in it, and with the 4banger it surprisingly doesn't lack power. I daily drive it, it will even cruise on the freeway just fine. I've had it over to the coast a few times recently, no problems, cruised over there at 70.

I'd like to have this.. I REALLY REALLY don't need it.. but it would be fun to have.. I think $2800 is a good deal.

good luck with the sale.

Thanks, Dallas.  :) I would have to say no on the smog. I have no idea as I live in a smog exempt area. but as is I don't think it'd pass.

Sorry for the slow response guys. The truck is still available. I have had a LOT of interested people contact me, and I am sorry if I did not get back to you. I had at least 4 serious buyers, but due to me being so indecisive I have not sold it. I was ready to sell it the first few days, but as time went on I wanted to keep it more and more. At this point I am not sure if I am still going to sell it.

Hey guys,

I had decided to keep the truck, but now, as before, I need to lower the bills... I need this thing gone by this weekend.

The AC belt squeaks here and there, and the rear u-joint on the rear drive line needs to be replaced. Those are the only issues with the truck. It has been my daily driver since I got it. It has a new alt, batt., power steering pump, all fluids, etc.

I'll take $2750 cash.

Everyone that called, emailed, and pm'ed me before, please get a hold of me again! I cleared my phone's history, emails, etc. and lost all contact numbers.

Thanks!

-Dallas

~Not sure on the smog, I'd have to say no.
