another thing, you sure it has 4.10's?  It seems lower geared than that to me when I drove it down the rode last night after you left

Yea, it has 4.10's. I don't know why it's like that, it's weird... That's why I never re-geared. It cruised down there at 80-90 the whole way.

Pat

did you ever pull them and check, or is that what he told you?  My runner 33 and known 4.10s is way taller geared out of the hole

I never pulled them. He said they were 4.10's, so I assumed they were. I'm anxious to see what they are actually, when are you pulling the diffs?

Building it up, lowering it down,  Pretty thrashed now,  But I needed AC and a pickup bed,, I just could not see tearing up my runners, Adjusted the valves today, a few tight ones, a few real loose ones(real loud), timing chain is shot, no guides left (Ordered kit from engine builder), Rear tires completely bald, He claims they got that way in the last 190 miles ..  it was not worth 2750 at all but like I said it is what I wanted, cold ac, plus I have all the parts to make it decent again,  I have a turbo trans and a New dual ultimate i just built, A rear elocker( want to trade for high pinion now, rear housing is completey junk, smashed and twisted, but I have another, I have new 5.29s and set up kits so i will be bust for a while..  But i will get my son out there and show him how to weld and wrench..

Quoteit was not worth 2750 at all

I'll gladly take it back for $2750. I never said it was mint, but it wasn't junk either.

QuoteRear tires completely bald, He claims they got that way in the last 190 miles

I have pictures of them before I left, would you like to see them? 85mph on the freeway eats Iroks. If you wanted the tires in the condition they were when it was listed, you should have driven up and trailered it back.

Pat

It is all good there Duck,,  Not going to argue over anything, Just the chance you take when you buy sight unseen,  Good luck on your rig what ever it may be
