my buddys doin a 2wd 4wd conversion on a taco and was wondering if a w56 will bolt to the 2rz bell housing?

pretty sure it will but you need the bellhousing from a w59

use the bellhousing from the 2RZ,  um  a W56 is a 4x4 tranny  do you mean a w55??

good catch glen, i didn't even think about that.... but i think he is saying his buddy has a w56 that he has aquirred for this swap....

no hes using the w56 to convert to 4wd so using the 2rz bellhousing on the w56 is the way to go
