It's a joke son. The link takes you to the main page of Marlin Crawler, the place that all of the parts that are on his truck came from.

I think this pic was already posted, but it's pretty sweet

From the 2007 TTORA Big Bear Takeover event. This was a steep downhill slope that Marlin was traversing. Pretty hairy situation but the truck worked great

I know that spot, that's a pretty hairy spot doing it that way!

It was pretty crazy. Also it's really slippery with all the sand atop the rocks. I was directing him (that's me taking pics near the drivers rear corner) and he followed a great line, but at the bottom there was a good drop off and I said, "Just let it crawl & hold on" It was very steep & it slid a couple of feet and touched down. It was awesome!

I see Marlin went to Iroks, nice. How does he like those? I still have MTR's on my truck. I am thinking my next set of tires will be Iroks.

That drop off (waterfall) is hairy unless you take it just right, and knowing the location and angle he's at  I've seen people roll and almost roll there. I snaked my Sami through that spot and was laid over but still moving at the top. My old 80 met its match in that exact spot, the guy that owned it at that time stood it on its nose there and it ended up rolling all the way back down the hill during the recovery, if you'd call it that. I can't tell you how many times I've saved people from taking that route to almost certain hurt.

Here I am in my 84 cutting across like Marlin did

Here's what it looks like when you try it and screw up

Here's my before and after pictures of when you really screw up on it

Mike what lift/tire size is Marlin running in the pic w/ the Iroks?

looks like a 40" tire and maybe 3" or lift or so?   or are those his worn out 4" springs ?

88_Pathy

He has 4in springs that have been wheeled.  No body lift, trimmed fenders and 37's.  It is pretty low but not crazy like some of them on the forums.

Shamb

to my knowledge Irok doesn't make a 37" tire. I know the MTR's he has are 37's...

are the irok's maybe 38's?

i think its just the truck.. Also fun fact the 37" irok is actually SMALLER than the 36" irok. the 37's are just a rounder tire i guess

now that you guys have mentioned that it's going to bug me now...

is it a super swamper (SSR or something similar?)   that jumps from a 36 to a 38" tire...
