is the bed bobbed and if so how much?

Yes and don't know. Longbed frame with bobbed longbed bed. Because of his wheelbase the truck is extremely stable on steep climbs. I notice a huge difference between my shortbed and his longbed wheelbase.

That's just a straight up 84/85 Toyota Solid Front Axle, with some gusseting.
But up top you can see the Dana 60?/Toyota Hybrid Axle.

The Dana60 hybrid was removed a couple years ago and Marlin went back to a Toyota axle. The reason is because he wants his truck to have parts available to anyone, so he only runs what he sells  (we *used* to sell the D60 hybrid axle but not anymore so we removed it)

His front end has everything we sell:

UM06 Marfields (made in Japan)
Alloy USA Chromoly Inner Axles (made in USA)
Billet HySteer kit (made in USA)
New Patent Pending 25mm Steering Pin Conversion Kit (made in USA)
New Patent Pending Lower Heavy Duty Knuckle Cap (made in USA)
Crossdrilled and Slotted Rotors with Toyota V6 calipers
Crown Performance USA Military-grade Extended Brake Lines (made in USA)
Knuckle Ball Gusset Kit (made in USA)
EcoSeal Heavy Duty Axle Seals
Billet Wheel Spacers (1.5") (made in USA)
etcetera

Is the purpose for the hybrid axle mainly the strength of a D60? If that is the case it is probably just as strong to run some Longfields isn't it? Plus what happens if you break a hybrid part? S.O.L.?

- Yes, that was the only reason, for the strength of 35-spline Dana 60 axles.

- It pre-dated the 30-spline Longfields. There was no such thing.

- Yes, he would be SOL  They were stock Dana 60 axles, however they were shortened a bit.

Yeah, that makes more sense now. He probably didn't worry too much about breaking a D60 axle.
Does Marlin run Longfields now?
