well thought id say hi. my name is kory, i drive a 1985 4runner, which can be seen at the bottom of this linkhttp://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=2249.240. i've had the truck for about 2.5 yrs now, it started out bone stock in awsome condition. now its got 5" of lift, via rears up front and skycraper rears, hi-steer, detroits and 5.29's frt and rear, custom front and rear bummpers, and bunch of other little stuff thtd take up the rest of this page. A little about myself,  im originally from fresno ca, but got move up here to ak thanks to uncle sam. i didnt know anything about marlin crawler when i lived in fresno, nor did i even own a toyota at the time. i did how ever work at a toyota dealership, but i was more into lowering trucks and trying to make them go fast :hammer:. That was about 4-5yrs ago, im now kicking myself. i had best possible toyota resource in my own back yard, and didnt even know it. now im paying out the nose in shipping to have all the good parts marlin offers. either way it is worth it.
well here in two months i'll be a resident of tacoma washington, another move by uncle sam, but this one i'm looking foward too. so any of you washington guys, wanna meet up, or go wheeling sometime, please look me up. Ill be station at mcchord air base, pretending to be a a special purpose vehicle mechanic. Well thats it, thanks for the awsome parts marlin, and thanks to all those on the board, for the all the info.

Welcome, I'm originaly from Fresno as well. I've been lookin to transfer up to Alaska but am having issues with the wife. Maybe some day she'll see the light(literly). As for the Worshinton bums, there's a lot of em on the board, you won't have any trouble hookin up. They're a good bunch of guys. :beerchug:

well if you do get transfered up here, be sure its close to anchorage, and not fairbanks. i can see your wifes point, but its really not that bad up here, just long cold winters, other than that its like anywhere else...

Yup there is a bunch of us from WA here.  Most of the WA guys are on the wrong side of the Cascades, which is the west side so you'll get to hook up with all of them easily.  Im from the east side (the correct side  ) but there are runs going on all the time for all to enjoy.  When are you moving down here?  There will be a killer run in Sept.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

greengo

well if all goes right i'll be driving in around the 5th of sept, but i may have to wait a couple of weeks for my runner to arive. hopfully my truck will arive early and i can make the run, if not i might be able to find a way to at least spectate.

I can almost guarantee you a ride from someone on that side of the hill.  Everyone that Ive met from over there is way cool and woild be more than happy to hepl Im sure.  The run is going to be by portland OR at TSF.  Its going on from Sept. 8-12th.  Should be a lotta fun.  Im sure you'll enjoy yourself if you make it.

I talked to a guy at the Tim Mcgraw concert that got a felony charge and got locked up for telling a black lady to go eat some fried chicken.
