IFS calipers
« on: Jul 15, 2004, 12:31:22 AM »
I need a pair of calipers from a IFS truck (86-95).  I would prefer them to be from a V6, but if it's a 4 cylinder I will still take them.  Please post here or shoot me an e-mail if ya got the goods.

Later model 4-runner are the better ones too. 90+ I think.

Yeah, so if anyone has a set of Calipers from a 90-95 V6 4runner I want em, but any other rig from 86-95 will work.  Thanks for that info Dan.  We need to go wheelin' again man.

My 4 cylinder runner has them also. I believe all runners had them after 89

Got mine off a 91 truck and they are the ones with the 4 big pistons and ribs on the side, you'l have to run a wheel spacer with these calipers

I believe Marlin has the landcruiser style rotors that allow the use of the later calipers without spacer needed!

I meant a wheel spacer, the wheel will just barely hit the ribs on the caliper, did on mine anyway. (modified last post)

So how big of a wheel spacer did you have to run?

I think on my old truck I ran an 1/8" spacer, and I also ground the fins down a bit.

Indeed.  I was going to use them on my ifs hub swap but the cruiser calipers are the same without the fins, so I didnt need any spavers at all to make them fit.

Oh right on, $10 for the pair sound good?  Then you can just ship em over with the F-250 mounts.
