Backspacing

Im Going to a new setup on my 95 SAS pickup, im currently running horrible 33"x12.5 R15 BFG All terrains with series 97 15x10x4.5 BS. Im looking to buy a set of 35x12.5 R17s  with the same series 97s just 17s and DIFFERENT BS, and thats what I need!!!! :greengrin:  Help me out and post some good looking pics of your trucks track and post your rim and tire size with BS.

The 97's only come in a 4.5 BS in a 17" wheel. A buddy of mine just bought these for his 85 Runner. I'll see if I can get some pic's.

run a 3" BS wheel so you can beadlock them, that or just get 8s. from my own experience my aluminum wheels killed it 10" wide at 3psi and never lost a bead. went to steel wheels and loose them all the time. wish i got 8s.

ya considering they came stock with 3.75 inch bs, a 4.5 is less then good!  i wouldn't go with a 17 inch rim on any less then a 39.5.  you want sidewall for wheeling, and a 35 with a 17 won't have any.  and 17 in rims cost a buttload.

you can get a 17" rim cheap like a steel soft 8, but tires are $$$$$
