Brake Problem
« on: Apr 30, 2008, 09:06:08 PM »
I have a 84 toyota, I replaced the rear wheel cylinders, front calipers, shoes, pads, rotors and drums and after bleeding all the lines I still cant get a solid peddle. I tried putting another brake booster and master cylinder from another truck but I still cant get a good peddle. With what brakes I have they only seem to be locking up the rear tires. Can anybody help me with a solution
thanks

Another question, Do i need the arm that comes off the proportion sensing value that goes to the rear axle or can I cut that off. Will the LPSV still work correctly

If you take the arm off it work like a truck with no load on it. You can take it off or you can cut it and tie it up in different places to get more pressure applied back there depending on were the rod is. I toke mine totally off for now. Also try a vacuum pump to bleed your brakes gets away from needing help.
