2 days left, and counting!  my buddy with the bronco changed his mind, so it's just going to be me showing up friday night, they the rest of my buddies will be showing up saturday.  i think we're going to wheel into buck island saturday morning and stay the night there, rubicon springs for sunday night, and head out tahoe side monday morning.  see you guys soon.

If your towing, it takes about 1hr 25mins with no traffic. I will be up there with 2 other Toyotas saturday morning. EARLY. Look for a toyota with a rising sun on the hood and a tan and black toyota 82. Should be camping at spider Saturday night!

hey guys, make sure if your trailering, you have 4 tie down points, not 2 straps and a chain.  i just heard from someone that they got pulled pver by chp for it and that they are going to be patroling 50 and 80 looking for rigs not tied down properly.  also, have your registration on you.  check point is supposed to be up at loon lake.  just a little info.

So...... Left from Placerville around 7am. Got up 2 miles from loon lake. Snow started dumping enought to where the trailer was sliding around.... Had to turn around and head home  Good luck to allk who Plan on trailering back down loon today or tomorrow... its pretty nasty.

I had the same problem at around 9:00 am. It sucks I was really looking forward to a three day weekend up there.
