uh.....i just checked weather.com for memorial day weekend at south lake and it's calling for rain on saturday.  this could be interesting.

we'll be showing up to loon lake about midnight friday, won't hit the trail until the light on saturday morning.  anyone else planning on camping at loon friday night?
yea im camping at loon.....look for the red and black 4-runner and a bunch of other rigs...like 10 if nobody flakes out

4 days left!  i'll the truck loaded on the trailer at 4, and should be heading at 5:30 or so friday afternoon as soon as my wife gets off work.  we should be showing up to loon lake late friday night.  thats good to know that there isn't snow left.  i'm just hopeing now that the rain for saturday holds off.

i was at the trail head to the rubicon on saturday afternoon and there was no snow in sight....actual it was so hot i can not see how there is still any snow up there....

well, i guess i'll be bringing up a bit more than a tent and sleeping bag, i checked weather . com again and its calling for rain on saturday, thunderstorms and rain on sunday, and clearing up monday.  this is going to be fun trip.

im makin it to buck friday night and so is rocko if he can keep up  :yupyup: just kiddin . if we spend a couple hours at little sluice and the soup bowl im cool with that. then we might be able to get a little night wheelin in  :driving:
