So heres a ? for you guys that run the Marlin lifts. When i bought the truck everything on the suspention was done. The front shocks to me seem to be to long for the hoops that are on there. i dont run bump stops yet but am going trim the fenders so i can get more compression out of the front. I was thinking just making new shock tabs that are gusetted and about 2 inches longer to gain alittle more up travel. what have you guys done. (weld the hoop higher on the frame than where they welded it? ) the back seems to be fine i still have about a inch left but that will change im sure when the truck is loaded with gear witch i have not yet to wheel this truck with all my gear in the back.

this has the  5 inch marlin kit front and rear with the bilstine shocks.

I completely flexed mine out and then shoved a compressed shock up through the inner fender and made the mount there. My mounts are way higher that shock hoops and are about straight up from the frame.

You can see where they are mounted in this video at about 1:15 http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a282/Minisimp/?action=view&current=100_6763.flv

I guess i will just redue my mounts. you would think who ever installed it would have messured right. oh well as many things that need to be re worked on this truck i'll sort them all out. just in time to tear it all apart and do it over.
