My buddy just e-mailed those pics to me.Funny thing is those pics were taken right outside the 4 Wheel Parts I used to work at,The Riverside store.

ash  is a "hardwood"   but  no where near as  hard  as hickory

What's really pathetic is that someone spent a lot of time cutting those chunks of wood to fit inside there and then took the time to install them inside the coil.   Why didnt the dumbass just weld a couple pieces of angle iron to the coils if he wanted to prevent suspension travel.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
