The pic of CUBuffRunner's bent axle made me laugh, who would have guessed the wrong part would work to get it on a trailer

I was glad he had that short axle shaft!  Worked out perfect.

Nice meeting you and your dad as well COToy91!

More pics from DIRTCO on Yotatech

Here's a few pictures of the exit of Carnage.  A large boulder had rolled into the middle and made it almost impossible to get up.  Cory did make it up but it took a lot of pulling, pushing and a few well placed rocks (and some amazing driving, of course ) .

They don't want you winching to that tree.  It's basically keeping everyone on trail and looked like a ton of work to get into place.

6.  Took us 6 hours to complete.  We had to tow one guy out in 2wd since he broke a front 5.29 R&P on the squeeze rock after V-Notch.  Good thing it was near the end of the trail.

Squeeze Rock right after V-Notch on BV Carnage

I'll post more of his pictures later this week.  He got some great shots!

Holy Cross - August 1st, 2008

Jeff making this climb look easy!

Jared and his new buildup doing well

Up and over

Dale and his ultra-clean truck!

Eric sporting the new 6" front stretch and Pitbulls

Kyle working up the ledge

Jeff on the far right line of French Creek

Issac and his 4Runner crossing French Creek

Wheelstand out of the creek!

Jared back down

Andy rocking Eric's YJ down the ledge

Pretty ugly without the front fenders and multi-tone paint  :D

Cory and his well-tested Toyota.

Jeremiah and custom 85 4Runner

BV Carnage -  August 2nd, 2008

At the trailhead

Tough line for a short wheelbase rig!

Sideways in V-Notch.  A little windshield frame damage and some scratches to the cage is all that resulted

Big ledge that eats crossmembers.  Good thing for the flatbelly.

Cory spotted me through the squeeze.  I couldn't make it...... (notice the height of the rock on the driver's side)

So he had me just drive over it  :D

Very tough spot on this trail

Cory shows us the squeeze line.

Jeremiah follows

The exit.  Worst part about this trail.  The rock in the middle of this picture wasn't there last year and made the exit climb way tougher than last year.

Eric's home free!
