Hey all, I missed this section when I signed up a few months ago, went straight for the classifieds!
Currently I'm not a yota owner yet, been looking around learning and interested for a 4door dual cased and locked daily driver/weekend warrior that isn't too banged up since I can only afford one ride, I guess depending on gas prices these days.  I have a 1993 nissan pathfinder with a body lift and 33x10.5s sliders and a lockright, I know, laugh away but it works for now, well not really and I do hate ifs!

Forgot to mention, I came out from NYC/LI area where all the wheeling I did was on the beach to to go surfing or just hanging out.   I'm utterly blown away by by what CA has to offer as far as, well lets say anything at all related to the outdoors!  The guys I wheel with now and then have all sas'd their rigs and I see the difference as I'm either bouncing all over stuff, picking the mellow lines or relegated to the bypasses.

Welcome to Marlin! :turtle3:  Good luck finding a Toyota with solid axle. If you don't already know 79-85's have stock solid front axles. My personal favorite would be an 85.(possibility of efi and I love second gens.) SAS is always an option, but look for an older Yota if you can find one. Happy Toyota Hunting
By the time I get the money for an SAS I'll be 65 at this rate!

Thanks for the welcomes and info!  Since I live in an apartment complex and am lucky to be able to do some minor work now and then, and don't have the tools or skills to sas something myself I'm looking for a built rig (unfortunately).  Also want to find a 4door but I hear that the v6 is lousy and the 2nd gens with a 4cyl might be tough on fuel economy and power.  I've got time to look and read up!
