First of all, let me state that this is my everyday driver and not meant to be a rockcrawler(already have one). With that said. I wanted something that would blend in well and have somewhat of a stock look to it. I looked at all the winch bumpers out there, and even though they looked nice for a rockcrawler, it wasn't really what I had in mind. Also, the winch is a Warn HS9500i that I had left over from my Ford Bronco that I sold a couple of years ago. I do like that the fact that the 9500 is a complete unit and don't have to deal with mounting the black box for the control wire. This winch mount can be installed by yourself, if you have a welder and know how to weld for less than $200! That's right! less than $200... Okay, I don't have a welder and don't know how to weld, soooooo I took my 88 Pickup down to Offroad Solutions(Arvada,Colorado) and had Mike and his team weld mine on($350), and they did a great job.
