just got back, was a great trip with awsome weather, didnt manage to take a single pic though

  I have never seen that many rigs on the trail! How long did it take you to run Jack? Any carnage?

just got back home.  got a few pictures, not too many.  lots of carnage all over the place.  way to tired to do anything right now.

Wrecking Ball was its usual self and there was no where to run from that swinging ball it hit almost everyone at some point.

This fullsize Bronco found out just how punishing Wrecking Ball really is, even though it was very well set up the Bronco was just a little too wide and low. Finally he flopped it recovered by stabbing the gas and then flopped from that too. In the 1st pictures he is barely flopped and his rear left tire is keeping his sheet metal from further damage but unfortunately the only way for him to free himself was to move forward and then he laid it down on the rocks completely. It was dove-tailed front and rear but it is a little more dove-tailed in the front now than when he started.

This spot claimed a few vehicles but the Bronco was the only one that didn't recover itself, I found that once on their side a quick turn to the left and a little man power to keep the flop to a minimum was all that was needed to right those who were wronged. I only got these two on film but there were others.

The waterfall is the crown jewel of Wrecking Ball and out of 13 rigs only 4 climbed it unassisted plus they were only given 3 attempts and then had to winch. Notice in the 1st 2 pictures that this guys cooler slammed into his cage and burst open sending its contents everywhere. Now notice that it only took a matter of seconds for the vultures to swoop in and start grabbing their goodies.

I guess the waterfall saved the best for last though just to show who's really boss, the next set of pictures would be self explanatory except sometimes pictures don't say 1,000 words. This truck did get some good air but didn't flop until the weight of the rig unloaded when he shifted into reverse sending it onto the exo which did its job. The only new scratches it received were to the exo.

I'd like to thank the Extreme Wheelers 4 Christ for leading this run and having a taco bar at the waterfall, they kept things moving for the most part and there was no breakage that stopped the run for very long.

After stuffing ourselves with tacos these two rigs showed up with their posse in-tow and told us to prepare for a show. They tried going to the right of the waterfall up an almost vertical wall, yes they had impressive rigs but the wall denied them. They did take a new line up the waterfall that put them almost vertical.

Wow! somebody actually saw a desert tortise?  Cool.  They are active this time of year as the like to eat the wildflowers.  I hope you read your handout in the registration packet.  They are protected and should not even be approached if possible.
