i tryed the tps that didn't help the manual say under the trouble shooting that it might be a loose connection at the distrubtor, coil, or alternator or a vacuum leak but checked the connections and looked for vacuum leaks but didn't find any thing I'm running out of ideas I'm getting frustrated at this build the motor went in about 4 months ago and i just got it to start but it wont stay running I'm about to take it to the dealer and have them fix it

hmm.... i had that same problem after a swap, the air flow box has that sensor in there that corresponds with the circuit opening relay.... the connecting tab on the air flap was bent and wouldnt make the connection to complete the circuit, start and run for a 15-25 seconds then die out.... that was fun to find!!!

you can only get to it by cutting the top off of the trap flap

best test to make sure, after you seal that back up, pull it off, start it and watch the flap, if it starts to close then let it die, start it again and hold it open... if it doesnt die, theres the prob! double check ALL connections and make sure you dont have a bad connection or a bare wire somewhere! gotta love those little electrical gremlins!!

#1 most overlooked thing: fuel filter. Have you checked it yet? Even if it is new, some stuff could have been knocked loose in the tank while messing around with stuff and plugged the filter. Good luck.

But unless the fuel pump has been replaced recently, who know what kind of condition the sock (or whatever its called) is in good condition? It was just an example, I was just trying to get the point across that he should look at the filter.

Check your fuel pressure and make sure your air box/tube is sealed.
Does it do this? If it does, new fuel pump time.
