Topic: 22RTE Wiring problem

Im putting a 22rte out of my truck into '86 4runner. I have a problem with wiring. One of the 4 plugs on the engine harness comming into the cab does not plug into the 4runner body harness. Everything else fits. I just got it running and its giving me 2 codes. 2(air flow meter signal) and 8(intake air thermo sensor signal). Im hoping this problem has to do with un-used plugs. Otherwise, im stumped. Both motor and 4runner are 1986. The turbo engine worked perfectly in the truck when I took it out a month ago. I swapped everything for the motor over to the 4runner, so I know everything works. The turbo truck had an auto, so maybe thats why the engine harness has a bigger plug?? Im trying to get a FSM right now. Anyone know off hand what these plugs are for? Thank you.

Looks like the two loose connectors would fit, if the one white one didn't have the "extra" pieces on the ends.  Did the automatic have cruise control? 

Maybe you could find a harness for a 5spd 4runner, don't matter if it comes form a 22re or 22rte.   The harness's are the same.  That should get you the harness with matching plugs.
