Everyone has the option to post their own avatar. It figures once I moved BM would do this.

AzRocks 2008
April 4 & 5, 2008

Come to Arizona and join us for the sixth annual AzRocks event.

We have planned two days of wheeling for all Toyota 4WD vehicles. The trails will accommodate the new owner who has never been off pavement all the way to trails that are guaranteed to make a veteran wheeler pucker.

No big BBQ; No big Raffle; Our motto is Shutup And Wheel. The focus is on having more Toyota owners participate in order to learn how to practice responsible recreation and how to preserve our public lands for future access. The amenities we provide are totally funded from event t-shirt sales. No fee or registration is required. We run rain or shine.

This a TTORA event. NO ALCOHOL WHILE ON THE TRAIL!!! When local laws prohibit drinking and driving, those same laws are applicable to any TTORA event. All violators will be asked to comply immediately, or leave the event. Please don't put my trailmasters in this position!

If you think you might attend, a permit is required and you should plan about two weeks ahead to get one via the mail. The links and address (for the last minute folks) is on our website.

The event is held in a remote area where all services (including motels) are 10-17 miles away. The site is accessible with campers or motorhomes. Don't worry if you are arriving after dark, when have excellent signage to help you find the campsite.

Please come and join us for a fun two days of wheeling!

It really depends on what I get done by then. As of now I have a welded rear with everything else pretty much stock. The only trail I have done out there is woodpecker, and it was about as hard as I am willing to do with my truck the way it is now. If I get sliders done and 4.7's then I will try some other trails.

Mark in Az

It sounds like the Medium trails would be a good fit...including Elvis...a lot of optional lines on that trail.

I heard that a hunting licence will double as a state trust land permit. Can anyone confirm this?

I've heard of that but never looked into it. Though in the 4 years I've been going to F.J. I've never been asked about a permit. I have a friend that copied a page from the STL book that said you are only trespassing if you are taking stuff from the land i.e. rocks, wood, minerals(gold and stuff). I just dont really worry about it.

So do you know if it is true that a hunting licence works as one?

Mark in Az

No, I don't know it that will work.
