Can Anyone Get a Nintendo Wii??

DISCLAIMER: This is an actual question, I'm not asking for opinions on whether video games are part of the Axis of Evil, so please don't turn it into a debate.  I'm simply trying to make an 8 year old boy happy.  I will note that we do outdoor activites, have a 4wheeler, own and read books, construction paper and crayons, make forts out of blankets and all of that good creative stuff.  This will be the only gaming system the child is allowed to have, and if you know anything about the Nintendo Wii you'll know they do not support violent video games, and you have to get up off of your butt and move in order to make it work, so we feel it's a good compromise.  Thank you, now on to the actual question.

Can anyone of our Marlin brothers or sisters help the PA Tacos obtain a Nintendo Wii??  Where we live, they are simply impossible to get.  We have Wal-Marts, Best Buys, and Circuit Citys, but all say that they only get about 3 at a time, they have no clue when they are coming, and there is always 15 people waiting in the store when they arrive so they are gone as soon as they come in.  The Game Stop/EB Games website appears to be doing bundles on pre-order, but at this point it wouldn't arrive before our son's birthday.  We've asked a couple of times in the shoutbox and some people say that their local Wal-Marts appear to have a few in stock.

Soooo.....our question is.....is there anyone out there who would be willing to work with us to buy one and ship it to us?  We can do PayPal, personal check, money order....credit card over the phone with a store even....whatever it takes.  Just the regular $249 basic system would be preferred but we'd buy a bundle if the price isn't too outrageous.  You of course have our good honest word as Marlin brothers and sisters that we're reliable to deal with.

He was supposed to get a Wii for Christmas, and needless to say that didn't happen.  His birthday is on Valentine's Day and we thought for sure we'd be able to get one by then, but it's not looking like it's going to be possible around here.

Of course I know there is always eBay, but they are all so expensive on there.  I thought we'd put some feelers out in Marlin Land first since a lot of you are from larger areas where you might actually be able to pick one up at your local Wal-Mart or whatever without getting the bag of that we've been getting in our teeny little town.

Thanks Mini....that's the one that we were mentioning won't arrive until after his birthday since it won't ship until 2/15.  But we'll def keep it in mind as an alternative if we can't find one before his b-day.

Thanks Glen!  Yep just say you need a Nintendo Wii.  The basic boxed system should be $249.  We can get extras around here when we're ready, we'd just like to get the basic system to give to him for his birthday.

Thanks for all of the opinions, both here and in the shoutbox, and PMs.  Seems like it's the same story everywhere, so we went ahead and bought one off of eBay.  I think we got a decent deal and it'll ship out today so we'll have it in plenty of time.
