water pump gasket

ok so my water pump is leaking to the point my truck is not drivable so any body have any reconmendations for doing this I dont have money for a mechanic so Im doing it myself and I read that I have to pull my timing belt to do so whats the best way to do this to change out the gasket

How about some info on the truck...year....4cyl.....v6?????

Assuming that you're referring to you 1994 truck and assuming that you have a v6 since you mentioned you have a timing belt, You should really replace the timing belt, water pump, belt tensioners, etc.  This is a normal procedure that is supposed to be done about every 100k or so.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
