4runner body on a hilux frame = Hi-Runner.
 2,4 dti duals 2,28 x 2,28 to 8" 5.71 with arbīs  and 39,5" trxus
gathering parts for my goal which is
350 Chevy 700r4 auto to 2.28 x 4.70  and 4.88 9,5" cruisers diffs,diamondaxles and cable lockers, 44" richard cepecs

Wow, amazing how much different the rig looks with fenders/hood.  Looks very nice.  Love to see pics of how you mounted skins to tube.

Did you measure the boatside, how much clearance did you gain from doing that?

When are you going to test that new pretty shinny, cab roll bar?  :evilgrin:  :D

which rig are you talking about, they both are narrowed in the front

i am not 100% sure, but i dont think propane conversions are legal in CA at all... unless its a huge industrial truck, some of those were manufactured with propane

ya i talked to a local smog ref and he said that the kit had to be state approved/mandated, the got propane is not state approved so that means it is not legal in CA. just regester your truck in a county that does not have bi-annual smog so that way you do not have to smog ever again. unless the state reverse that law

thats what i did....i registered my truck in ukiah, ca.  i dont have to smog it ever again as long as it stays registered there.  i would love to get the propane conversion kit, but having my truck as a daily driver deters me from it.  propane isnt as incredibly convient to fill up with as gasoline.  and plus i cant afford to spend 900 dollars to replace something i spent 500 on that works great. so no propane for me.  a CA legal kit would be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ i would think, since the non-legal one is 900 freaking dollars, plus getting a couple tanks
