CHEROKEE SPRINGS UNDER TOYOTA QUESTION???

anyone know if rear cherokee springs would be a direct bolt up for 1980 or not??? i know front wrangler springs are  but my buddy knows where an abandoned cherokee is sitting so it would be FREE SPRINGS!!  :biggthumpup:  Any info appriciated...thanks.

Your best bet is to measure your current springs, eye to eye, and then go measure the cherokee springs eye to eye. if they are close (a little longer they might work, definitely not shorter) then go for it. if not oh well. As I recall, jeep cherokee springs are 6-10 inches longer than stock toyota springs. Cant recall for certain but I had a guy with a cherokee that wanted to buy my YJ springs i had for sale (same length as stock toyotas) but my YJs were too short for his cherokee.

thanks im just being lazy and didn't want to measure the springs. i guess i will measure them and post if it they will work or not... THANKS AGAIN GUYS

we ended up using some 3'' downey springs my buddy got a good deal on so never measured the cherokee springs thanks anyway guys.
