What's the width of the tire?

You want the rim width about 70-80% of the tire width.....

i read that 8 in will hold a bead better offroad, but i'm sure a 10in would drive better on road due to less sidewall flex...i'm mixed on what size i'll be going with myself..

I am running stauns now and am very impressed. I believe that when you order stauns you have to order them to what width of wheel you are going to run. If you are going to run a 35" tire I would run an 8" rim. I run 39.5" IROKS on a 15x10 and run @ 4 PSI

If you run the staun's this isn't an issue.  I'd go 8's but that's just cause I like how they look better.

I have never had any problems besides shearing off the valve stem on the staun somehow.

Like EarlKann stated it shouldn't be an issue since running an 8 inch wheel is better in regards to a non beadlock application. Since the Staun is a beadlock system a 10 inch wheel should be no problem. Remember that with the Staun it isn't a combination of tire pressure and rim width that is keeping the tire mounted, it's the Staun that's doing that job now!   :beerchug:

I'm a 10 inch wheel sorta guy myself...

At sub 5 psi Iwould lose a bead on just about every outing, since going to 10's w/33's and 35's, i haven't lost a bead in the last 10 yrs.  A buddy of mine was running 8's, after losing 3 beads on one outing w/in about 50ft of each other, he ordered a set of bead locks.

i like 8 inch cause i like the look of skinnier tire. 10 inch just makes the tire bulge out to much for ME that is.

the 15x8 will give the tire to rim ratio a better fit than a 15x10rim
