Fully tacked and ready for some grinding and bondo

3" rear springs, relocated hangers, and bilsteins

Dual Cases - Donor case is from an 82.  I will be using that with my current case

Temporary Square front drive-line.  Worked very well while I used it, but because of using 4 wheel drive during higher speeds I needed something that's going to balance out.

Rear shaft is actually my front shaft lengthened and balanced.  I've been running this for 2 years now without any complaints

First time out after the SAS - Overall I was very pleased with the results

Kaptain

Other goodies... Masterflo MV50 compressor and a 350W power inverter - both hardwired to the dash

Stock gears in both cases and I'm loving it.

i like the vertical shocks especially for on road driving, but wont that kill articulation?

Nope, not at all.  They have 14 inches of travel and I have several inches of extension still available.

I'm not sure how long it will take with these tires but with the 33" TSL's it would take 15 minutes to fill all of them up from 15 PSI to 32 PSI.  I've been running it for over 2 years now and there have been times it's been running 30 minutes non-stop.

Kaptain

Finally did some work on the truck today and I made some front hanger frame gussets.

Check out the first picture; the frame is already starting to crack That's about 2 years and 15k miles with a fair amount of wheeling trips... I'm surprised SAS vendors are still NOT including something like this in their kits! The material was 2 x 2 x .25 square tubing.

Also re-tacked the u-joint caps on the TG drive-shaft and installed new bushings in the front shackle sleeves.

DTB

Did you make a shifter plate for your twin sticks? or just re-use the old one?
