nub, the owner of the first truck, had alot of stuff done to that truck...like i think 2 complete rebuilds after totaling it...slabcs would now more about the truck

Oh man very sorry to hear that.  That truck is half the reason I joined this board, I've been eyeing that up since before I signed up in 2005.  And hell yeah, if slabcs can offer any info that would be awesome.  RIP NUB

thats a cool truck, but they got to do something with the front. 4 feet of wheel travel in the rear and none in the front make for a completely un usable truck off road. as of now its just and rti queen

That truck belonged to my brother, Jeff.

It started out a completely cherry 1994 extra cab, it was green.  Then one day he rolled it multiple times and it went end over end.  He got a 2000 Tacoma as a new daily driver, and started to build the 94.  The frame was from a 1984 regular cab shortbed truck, he fixed the 94 extra cab and put that on the frame.  Then the bed came from the 2000 Tacoma, because he got rear ended and got a new one for the daily driver.  He bobbed the front of the bed and put that on.  It's not off a double cab Tacoma.  From there it got Allpro 5" springs, dual transfer cases, 4.88 e-lockers front and rear, Longfield 30-splines.  It was a really awesome truck, I loved it.  I'd get so stoked every time he'd let me drive it.  He saw that I loved it so much and he built my 84 for me so I could go wheeling too.  Now I daily drive the Tacoma, and still wheel the 84.  I'll never get rid of either of them because of the sentimental value they have to me.  Rest in peace Jeff.

It's in pieces.  Front axle is in my 84, rear axle is going in my 87, suspension and transmission/tcases is on the formula toy.
