are 33 inch tires way too small for a marlin 4 inch lift? I see trail junk offers 3 inch springs but Marlin doesnt. My runner is mostly a D.D. and occasional trail rig.

thanks guys

sort of ...kind of to small...but for on the road there about right...i have 33's and a 4 inch (who knows what brand) set of springs and i like it on the road..but im eventually goin with marlin 5" springs and 35's or 37's :beerchug:

mines been an ongoing project for 0ver 3 years,so far allits missing is a sas and matching rear lift,no dual cases thats way overkill for what i do. built up my own transfer case last year when i swapped in my turbo trans, its geared in the basement enough for me,lol

personally, I would say that its too much work to do all of this for 33's....

I would go with at least 35's for final tire size.

But if you do go with 33's I wouldnt go over 2 or 3 inches most

I would tend to agree,  if your going to go through all the effort of the lift, buy tires I would get the tires that will go best with the lift...
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

For street tires I think they would be great.  I am running a 4" Marlin and want a set of 33X10.50R15 BFG AT's for the street and a set of 36" TSL's for offroad.  Only problem is the money to have two sets of tires.  I may just end up going with a set a Cooper M/T's (35")

TheCookieMonster

ya here is a pic with 33's

its hard to see but i does look a little goofy to me when your up close....i like the tires on the road tho

The Cooper Discoverers kick butt I'm running 31x10.50 right now.
The traction is great in all conditions and they wear super long.

Oops, I'm preaching to the quire.
