« on: Dec 05, 2007, 11:28:30 PM »
hi everyone! I really want to put in a solid front axle on my 1994 pickup reg cab 22re 4x4 because i keep eating up the stock ones there are lots of kits out there but my problem is i want to keep the stock ride hight or lower because its being slowly transfromed into a 4x4 drag truck and was wondering if its possable to do a s.a.s with a lift and if anyone sells them?

I guess you could have the springs rearched and do a spring under axle setup...  I'm not really sure I'd want to have a go-fast truck with leafs and a solid axle up front, though...  If I were you, in the interest of stability, I'd talk to the Honda guys about who makes strong CV joints and keep IFS.

I sent a email to the guys at the drivehaft shop who make 1000+ hp cv axles and hopefully they will be able to make me some custom drop in ones. I want to keep the ifs and will if it can handle what im going to throw at it. Also how strong is my transfer case its a  Type 6-B on the mc transfer case bible from what i hear its pretty strong mine hasnt broke yet but i bet it will and if it dose i will look into the atlas 2. another thing how well do arb air lockers hold up to hp 700 or so?
