just introducing myself.  From NC and in the middle of my first toyota build. Last four rigs ive worked on have been jeeps.  Been reading the build threads on this site for awhile now trying to get some ideas.  its a '85 toyota truck with 4.3/th350/duals swapped in and the next thing is figure out the axles....build the toys or go one ton. 

looking forward to reading and learning more from the site.

btw  i think your axle choice  is  related to how you are going to use the rig

i have a friend with 4.3/t350 setup  and he still runs  the ifs  but  he doesnt abuse the rig either

if your gonna go out  rock crawlin over huge boulders  at 30mph  then  go rockwells,  otherwise  the  solid  toyota axles  will do you fine for  up to 37 inch tires
