Dual cases, SoCal
« on: Nov 28, 2007, 10:11:42 PM »
Just bought this truck and I'm parting it out.  Dual cases with 4.7 gears in the rear case.  Both are top shift, I'm assuming 21 spline (haven't even got it out of the truck yet).  Adaptor and gears are Trail Gear.  One good shifter and one in pieces that may be repairable with a new base.
$900

If you happen to have a 1st gen p/u there is a TG dual case crossmember for 79-83.  $100
and a rear driveshaft cut down for the dual cases. $50

Located in Riverside, SoCal
No shipping.

Are you willing to split the cases? If so how much do you want for the 4.70:1 case? And is Riverside near Dumont?

I'd rather not seperate.  Dumont sounds familiar, but I'm not sure.  My zip is 92508

Oh ok well if you end up separating them let me know please. I could also work a trade with a stock case if you would be interested.

I haven't driven it because it has no brakes or battery.  It does start and run.  We could try to jack it up and run it through the gears if you want to give it a listen.

The axles will be for sale also.  I was just waiting to post them till I get the truck moved over to my house.  I need to keep it mobile till then.  Right now it's over at JedRattle's house, it's only about 15-min from me in the La Sierra area of Riverside.

You can give me a call during the day if you want to check it out.

I just built those Duels about 50 days ago i truck never made in on the street, but when it was tryed out on the jack stands it all worked find. I built the drive shift to, i think is was 42" over all if i can remember right, it would fit your truck only if you have duels, reg cab, and short bed
