I was looking on craigslist at that truck last week. I thought it was a high price. I didn't think they were rare, you guys say otherwise.

kneedownnate

You didn't think a 4wd diesel toyota was rare?  :screwy:  We never got them in the states, any here had to be imported somehow.

Rare yes and they were officially brought into the states in both the 2WD and 4wd variants.

That's why Dean (4THEWKN) and now 88PATHY's truck didn't have to go through all the DEQ stuff that Marlin and Bigmike had to go through to get it DEQ'd with the motor swap to the 3RZ's.  Dean's truck was originally a diesel, so he didn't have to smog.  But he put all the smog stuff on the 3RZ.

Maybe Marlin Crawler should buy it for a trail service truck!

I would like to have that truck. Even if it has the 2L, it's a good platform to start with. :yesnod:

Get a $1000 truck and pickup a $5000 half cut 1kzte and you have something.

The 2L's are noted for head problems.

This one does not even look to be turbo. :(

Maybe if you could get it for $4000, but still a bit much I think.

The box would be a plus, if you need it.

The bonus to buying this truck at that price is the guarentee not to lose your money.  You could easily sell it for this or more on ebay any given day.
