Factory locker

I found a 2005 complete rear axle with a factory locker for 1250.00, Is this a good price, is it worth the trouble or should i wait and put in a aftermaket locker.  I want to put it in my 85 toy, Can anybody help me

sounds a little expensive to me. you can almost get 2 factory e-locker thirds for that.

where??   a elocker 3rd is $950-1200

when they get that expensive?  :laugh: last time i looked you could get them for 750.  :smack:
used ones on ebay for around 550

Ones from marlin start at $950 & go up from there, thats just for the drop in. Your getting a complete axle. Buy it!

if it was me i would not buy that for 1200 i would just buy a detroit or arb instead

im with yah on that you can get a axle and detroit for under a grand

I would buy one on ebay for 450-550 shipped 
buy gears 200
modify the stock housing,
you would be into it 750,
and the 95+ axles have wider axles
what would you do when you break?
one I think they would be quite pricey
and hard to find.
but its all up to you.

Even for a 05 axle that seems a little hight. That axle is also wider than the 95 to 04 taco axle I believe.
