Beach Tour Denmark March 2007

Beach Tour Denmark is one of the biggest events for 4X4 rigs in Europa.
300 cars and lots of people came to Lokken in north Denmark. Lots of fun, and a big party in the evening.

No, it's not salt water.It's small rivers (?) that goes out in the sea.

It does look like fun but that is awfully close to the sea, it's not brackish water? Part salt, part fresh?

No, only fresh water.
In Denmark you can drive leagal on all beaches. Here in Norway they put you in jail if you try the same.

You can drive on some of the beaches here, but not like that. That looks like a blast! Do they only up that up for this event or it's always open?

Most beaches in Denmark are open for driving. But this event is the only big 4X4 meeting, but you always meet some if you are there.
Sadly next year will be the last time for the event.

No. Some of the hotells and the place where the party is have new owners. And new prices, I don't think they like offroaders....
Lokken is a very popular place in the summer, but almost the whole town is closed in the winter.
