I have a 90 22RE and when it idles it revs up and down, up and down, up and down. Somone told me why it does that along time ago but I forgot. Anyone have any ideas?

Drop your idle speed down first, then adjust your tps if it still hunts.

I'll tell you after you confirm you've set the idle properly. Not to be mean, but it's useless to do it otherwise.

sounds like a tps issue...

make sure no one stuffed a potato in your exaust

if you dont have one, buy a haynes auto repair manual...that thing will walk you through it in the trouble shooting

could be a number of things if its not your idle...air cleaner could be one, clogged injectors.....so on
